In 2009 a few of my tote bag designs were chosen to be featured in a new tote bag book by Jitesh Patel, and I am excited to say that The Tote Bag book has finally been published and it should be arriving any day now!
The book showcases a wide array of eye catching eco-friendly bags by designers and illustrators across the globe, and I am so thrilled and honored to be a part of it. I can't wait to get my hands on this book so I can check out all the other designs.

Here are a few new bags that were made from my pillows. They feature a zipper top closure and small pockets on the inside walls of the bag. They also have handy flaps on the sides of the bag that can be used for hanging a light jacket when you start to overheat! I only have five of these bags available, and once they are gone, they're gone. The size varies for each, and are approx. 13" x 13". I am working on determining a price, and will sell them on Etsy in the very near future. My seamstress Leah is the creator of these bags, and now that she is moving to Maine (sob!), I have to come up with new concepts. So I am currently developing tote bags made from my Blue Bam Boom and Retro Romp placemats, which will feature zippered pockets on the outside of the bag. After I'm happy with those, I will go back to creating pillow totes.
